Read and send email through email clients

Use the following settings to read and send email messages in mail clients, like Microsoft Outlook and Apple Mail. When you use IMAP, you can read your email messages on multiple devices, and messages are synced in real-time. Alternatively, you can also use POP to read email messages.

Use the following settings in your email client

Use the following information on your email client. If you require assistance to know where to insert the following information, you can search your email client's Help Center for instructions or ask us for additional help.

Settings for IMAP

Incoming Mail (IMAP) Server: mail.yourdomain.com
Requires SSL: Yes
Port: 993

Settings for POP

Incoming Mail (IMAP) Server: mail.yourdomain.com
Requires SSL: Yes
Port: 995

Settings for SMTP

Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server: mail.yourdomain.com
Requires SSL: Yes
Requires TLS: Yes (if available)
Requires Authentication: Yes
Port for SSL: 465
Port for TLS/STARTTLS: 587

These settings will work for our managed servers. Unmanaged servers should have a similar setup by default - depending on the web control panel you are using (e.g., Directadmin or cPanel).
